On this date in 1982, the Grateful Dead played an epic Sunday afternoon show. It was the first weekend of many they played at the Frost Amphitheater on the campus of Stanford University. The afternoon before included the first West coast West LA Fadeaway, new songs Throwin' Stones and Touch of Grey to open the 2nd set, and a highly emotional Morning Dew.

Anticipation was running high for another memorable performance, and the boys delivered! 10/10 is full of highlights including arguably the most powerful version of Looks Like Rain.
Legendary taper Rango Keshavan was there in the sweet spot up front to capture the energy with his Sony ECM-220T stereo mic, Sony TC-D5M recorder, and Fuji metal cassettes. Thank you, Rango, for your investment that continues to pay dividends 40+ years later!!
